The mid-term conference of EEA funded "Baltic Research Programme" took place at University of Latvia Campus for Life Sciences on 18th of October, 2023. The conference was organized by Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia and and Latvian Council of Science.
Scientific leader of "EditGrass4Food" project N.Rostoks informed the participants about project results, planned scientific activities and challenges. Participants had opportunity to visit scientific laboratories where projects researchers demonstrated the ryegrass transformation process from sterile plants to calli expressing RUBY reporter gene.
